SkinDRYE™ Technology – Engineered in Sweden

What began as frustration and skin problems from sweaty, irritated hands has grown into a seven-year collaboration with leading universities, dermatologists, and industry partners – resulting in a textile developed to solve the overlooked problem of moisture inside gloves.

Developed to Solve Moisture-Related Skin Damage

We developed a textile designed to address moisture at its source. SkinDRYE™ Technology uses a dual-layer system:
Inner layer: pulls sweat away from your skin instantly.
Outer layer: disperses and evaporates it before damage occurs.

By moving sweat outward, the textile reduces prolonged moisture exposure – a factor linked in research to Moisture-Associated Skin Damage (MASD), which is known to aggravate irritation, eczema flare-ups, and barrier breakdown. The effect: hands that feel drier and less friction – conditions shown to support the skin barrier during long glove use.

Engineered for Demanding Use

Built to be lightweight, durable, and adaptable across glove types. Unlike liners that just soak up sweat, DRYE actively directs it away from your skin, reducing irritation and odor during long shifts. Optimized fiber orientation and knit density designed with a focus on sensitive skin needs.

Backed by Research

Developed since 2018 in collaboration with:

• Uppsala University
• RISE Research Institutes of Sweden
• The Swedish School of Textiles in Borås
• Dermatology teams at Skåne University Hospital
• Supported by UIC, Borås INK, AFRY, and others

Recognized with the SKAPA Prize in memory of Alfred Nobel (2020) for addressing an often-overlooked challenge in glove-related skin health: Moisture-Associated Skin Damage (MASD).
